Here is a copy of an e-mail we received that truly spells out the benefits of using these products! I had my 2003 V-Rod on a trip to the panhandle of Florida.  I wasn't able to hose it down every day and I got a LOT of corrosion on the rims, controls, etc.  (There is a lot of polished aluminum on this bike when you start looking at it!).  I tried every product on the market and was nearing the conclusion that I would just have to wait and get chromed rims to get rid of the ugliness.  I tried S100, Mothers, Liquid Blue Magic, Never Dull, Semichrome and some others that I forget.  Not only was Boms Away the EASIEST to use (wipe on, rub a little, buff off - UNLIKE all the others I mentioned which are really agonizing on larger surfaces!), but it too ALL of the discoloration and corrosion out of the aluminum.  My rims, with the exception of the physical pitting, looked BETTER than when I picked my bike up new.  I did find, since there are concentric rings in the rims, that I had to raise my bike and spin the wheels by hand to get a nice smooth look - but what a look!  I would use this product on any piece of metal that I wanted to *glow*.
